Following the establishment of our laboratory in Crete two years ago, we have expanded with a new facility on the island of Rhodes this year, primarily dedicated to serving the needs of the tourism industry. In 2024, we successfully created a network spanning the entire country of Greece, providing comprehensive solutions for both consultancy and analysis to the HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant, and Café/Catering) sector.
Our Crete-based laboratory offers chemical and microbiological testing for various matrices, but our services in the Tourism Sector extend beyond that. We possess the expertise and experience to provide consulting services and comprehensive training to HORECA personnel, ensuring strict adherence to hygiene and safety regulations.
In the previous month, our Crete laboratory expanded its scope of accreditation, guaranteeing that our clients' needs will be met swiftly and effectively. This new scope enables the Crete Lab to offer:
Chemical Analyses in liquid waste, including BOD, COD, TSS, and other parameters
Microbiological Analyses in Food and Surfaces, such as the detection of Salmonella spp, Listeria monocytogenes, count of coagulase-positive staphylococci, Cl. Perfringens, Enumeration of Enterobacteriaceae, and more
Additionally, horizontal sampling methods for the microbiological testing of surfaces have been accredited
The combination of the aforementioned accreditations, along with the comprehensive range of services we provide throughout Greece, positions us as one of the most valuable players in the country's Tourism Sector.
