Within Germany, we will pick up your samples at any location. Just contact our team, let us advise you and make an appointment.

Sample collection subject to refrigeration / frozen samples

To ensure that your samples requiring refrigeration or freezing do arrive chilled/frozen at the laboratory, sample collection can be carried out by our experienced staff. Upon request, our team organizes compliance with the cold chain from the moment of handover. This means that you do not have to worry about anything else.

We can also organize a collection by a courier service for you. Here you have to pack the samples yourself, arrange a pick-up date with us and the courier service will pick up the packed goods. This shipment can be organized regardless of the availability of our staff.

If you do not have suitable packing material, we can provide you with material in advance. For this purpose, we will send you a number of thermo boxes and cold packs or dry ice, depending on the sample quantity. If necessary, we can also send you sterile bags and beakers.

If you can refrigerate or freeze the samples yourself using your own packaging material, then we will be happy to arrange same-day collection by courier.

In this case you only pay for the shipping per box. If we are to send you material, there will be a charge for shipping the material. If you have significantly larger sample quantities than just one box, our own employees will usually pick up the goods in an uncomplicated manner.

Collection of non-refrigerated samples

The shipment of non-refrigerated samples such as dry goods is easier. In this case, we can usually offer you same-day collection of the samples by courier. You only have to pack the samples ready for shipment and pay the shipping per box or package.

The shipment is usually made overnight by GO!

Shipping and pickup within a country can usually be arranged through one of our laboratories located nearby, or you can send your samples yourself through a local shipping company. In addition, there is always the possibility that you bring samples to us personally.

Within the EU, you can also have your samples sent to the lab yourself via a shipping company, or we can organize a sample pickup for you via a shipping company we work with.

Within the EU, shipping is relatively unproblematic, as no customs clearance and usually no inspection by the veterinary office is required.

If you want to have samples from outside the EU tested in our laboratories within the EU, then the shipment needs to be made by you.

Due to the large number of customs import regulations, it is not possible to make a reliable statement in advance as to when sample material will reach us.

Since 01.07.2021, shipments from outside the EU to us must always be cleared through customs and, if necessary, be inspected by the veterinary office. In order to go through this process as quickly as possible, the information about the sample must be as accurate as possible and preferably indicated in a commercial invoice. We can provide you with a template for this purpose.

For a detailed description of the shipment, please include the following:

• the quantity of the item
• the value of each item and
• if possible, also the customs tariff number (HS code)
• other information

The use of generic descriptions such as "work samples" or "samples for laboratory analysis" is NOT recommended. This will cause a delay in delivery.
