Innovation Tentamus

What is TIH?

TIH accompanies Tentamus laboratories on their journey towards automation by helping them select which devices would be best suited for their laboratory and how to implement them. The bedrock of automation is sustainability, this translates to Tentamus providing better quality and faster results for its customers with the goal of becoming the world’s most renowned safety and quality assurance company.

TIH has developed a digital agenda for successful implementation, focusing on four key pillars:

  1. Customer focus
  2. Digital connectivity
  3. Process optimization
  4. Digital services

By contacting partners in the Tentamus Group, TIH has the goal of sharing knowledge and facilitating collaboration within the group. The innovative and sustainable solutions implemented allow the laboratories to run more smoothly and therefore increases Tentamus customers satisfaction.

Although the main and first target group of TIH is Tentamus laboratories, we would be honored to expand our activities outside of Tentamus.

What is digital transformation and who can benefit from it?

The digital transformation of our society has accelerated in recent years and is clearly a key word when one thinks about the future. Digital technologies have become an essential part of our daily lives, they help us save time, communicate faster and keep track of important information.

Companies now also want to benefit from the advantages of digitalization in their businesses. Lab automation, full stack data processing and artificial intelligence have shown ground-breaking impact on companies' economic success. Digitalization and automation are the future for any business, by reducing labor time, increasing productivity, facilitating processes, time and money can be saved.

Digitalization & Sustainability

The digital transformation has the potential to support progress towards sustainability however, it currently enables unsustainable practices that are degrading natural systems, increasing the inequality gap and undermining human wellbeing.

It is urgent to change this tendency and to utilize the potential of digital transformation as a vital tool in developing sustainable economic and social habits. The focus needs to be shifted away from the pursuit of short-term, unsustainable gains towards the achievement of long-term values-driven sustainable goals.

A change in the usage of digital transformation is required to align the vision, values, and objectives of the digital age with sustainable development. Additionally, a commitment to sustainable digitalization that would limit the negative environmental and social impacts of digital technologies has to be made.

Testimonials

The much needed shortening of complex workflows in our laboratory requires automation and digitalization to increase our competitiveness. As a company, it is difficult to always find the time to address these topics efficiently. Therefore, we are pleased to be able to collaborate with the Tentamus Technology and Innovation Center (TentaTINC, one of TIH's predecessor) on projects that will help us eliminate manual and repetitive tasks in our lab. We look forward to continuing our journey towards automation with TentaTINC (TIH now).

There is always a need for highly customized solutions in automation and data analysis which are either unavailable on the market or very expensive. This is where an in-house innovation center comes into play. We are happy that after two years of working with the data analysis group at QSI, then Tentamus Technology and Innovation Center (TentaTINC), it is now promoted to Tentamus Innovation Hub (TIH) to support more sister companies Tentamus wide. Especially the support in setting up data processing methods in 2019/2020 is unfolding more and more potential. The recent advances in digitalization were only the first steps in this field, so we are looking forward to ongoing successful collaborations.
