Tentamus Vietnam appoints Thai Ho Tran as Director of Research & Development
Tentamus Vietnam is pleased to announce that Thai Ho Tran will join the company effective August 3, 2026 as Director of Research and Development.
As the Director of Research & Development, Mr. Tran will lead Tentamus Vietnam's R&D strategy, technology roadmap, scientific collaborations, and innovation programs.
His priorities include:
- expanding advanced analytical capabilities
- accelerating method development
- integrating automation and digital technologies
- strengthening regional technical collaboration
- developing laboratory leaders
- delivering innovative scientific solutions that create lasting value for customers

Prior to joining Tentamus Vietnam, Mr. Tran spent 16 years at SGS Vietnam – Food Testing, where he has built his career through successive leadership roles, from Laboratory Technician to Laboratory Manager. He successfully led laboratories of more than 100 staff covering food safety, contaminants, pesticide residues, veterinary drugs, mycotoxins, nutrition testing.
His expertise covers chromatography and mass spectrometry technologies, including HPLC, UHPLC, LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS as well as ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory management, method development and validation, laboratory automation, and strategic laboratory expansion.
Mr. Tran's unique combination of scientific expertise, operational leadership, strategic thinking, and proven experience in building high-performance laboratories aligns strongly with Tentamus Vietnam's long-term vision of becoming one of the region's leading centers for scientific testing.
