Tentamus Center for
Food Fraud – TCF2
Food Fraud is not an emerging problem of the food industry, it rather occurs already for decades or even centuries. However, the horse meat scandal in 2013 substantially raised awareness of authorities and consumers alike.
In order to be able to meet rising concerns the Tentamus Group founded the Tentamus Global Center for Food Fraud (TCF2).
The TCF2 serves as a hub for food fraud related requests from customers to any of the Tentamus labs. The TCF2 links analytical resources of our partner labs and offers additional services like sampling and sealing, for example of containers in a harbor before international shipment. Furthermore, TCF2 provides services around certification schemes, for instance support for VACCP.
The commitment of the people that are the foundation of our worldwide network of Tentamus laboratories enable us to provide state-of-the-art analytical techniques as well as comprehensive services and support around the challenging topic of food fraud.
