“Consumers are eating a product that is not honey!”
The American entertainment company Netflix will release a new show, starting on January 5: Rotten. The show is all about food fraud and corruption in the global food system.
It is a 6-part-series which aims to expose dangers behind our everyday eating habits. One part of the series will be about honey and QSI – our laboratory in Bremen (Germany) which is specialised on honey analysis and adulteration.
A spokesperson of Netflix says:
“Rotten gives food the true crime treatment […]. In a world where huge global supply-chains are increasingly intertwined and consolidated, this series starts on your dinner plate […] and follows the money to the shocking consequences – intended or not – of regulation, innovation and greed.”
Don’t miss it.
